Manic Monday.

Today was a great day here in Orurillo. We started this morning around midnight with the sound of Carson, one of the men from the church in Louisiana throwing up right beside my bed (not the greatest part). However, once the day started, it seemed like it was gonna continue to be pretty rough. The van wouldn't start, so we pushed it to a battery shop in town. Then, it was off to Batsapata, a little town near here that we had visited before, but the teachers at the High School won't give us a clear sign on whether they want us there so we left for the Primary school. Unfortunately, the primary school was closed because today is Teacher Day in Peru and what better way to celebrate than a day off!! However, we did get to meet with Felix, a believer, and hopefully encourage him.

In the afternoon, we went hiking and I took some awesome pictures! Then, it was off to the hospital to talk to some nurses, but they were too busy.

The evening consisted of dinner with the Catholic Priest (a charming man) and then a nice conversation with two believers, the town doctor and a nurse. They both seem very passionate about reaching others but feel they are too busy with their jobs to make a difference (sound like anyone back home). We told them that they can be Jesus to anyone at anytime.

The nationwide strike starts at midnight...it could be bad, please pray that it is not!!

Also, I almost touched a llama today, those things are quicker than they look, especially wild ones.

I got saved 11 years ago tomorrow...you best believe an awesome post is planned.

I WILL GO
